- The Bryntirion Inn, Llandderfel, has been put up for sale and reportedly bought by the owners of nearby Pale Hall. It is expected to reopen at the end of August.
- Black Cloak Brewery - formerly based in Colwyn Bay - has completed its relocation to Denbigh. It has a tap room which it is understood to be open Fridays and Saturdays from 2pm. The Black Cloak tap room in Colwyn Bay remains open but without the adjacent brewery.
- Brookhouse Mill, Denbigh, has been bought by Strange & Co (owners of the Cottage Loaf, Llandudno). It is expected to remain closed for some time while refurbishment takes place.
- Hafod Brewery, Mold, won a star at the recent Great taste Awards for their Moel Famau Porter.
